A Backyard Wedding in Bandon, Oregon on Film

C&J had an intimate ceremony in a backyard just across the street from the Pacific Ocean. Talk about romantic.

I knew from the moment Claire reached out that this was going to be a wedding for the books. It’s easy to tell the clients that are going to feel more like friends straight from the beginning (I’m honored to have a lot of them) && C&J were no different.

Their plans were minimal, just to get married, take photos & celebrate – a perfect recipe for a wedding day if you ask me. The freedom to enjoy & celebrate & embrace fully every moment of such a fleeting day. Prioritizing photos, candid moments, && film photos is the path straight to my heart.

They got ready with their closest friends, giggles & laughs echoing through the rooms when I arrived. They both held grins rivaling the August sun leading up to seeing each other as husband and wife for the first time – all joy & awe that they were finally in this moment together.

With the backdrop of crashing waves they bid their love, held communion, laughed, cried, and celebrated with their closest people. They were married & it was magic and passion & youthful exuberant love. I don’t think there was a dry eye that day.
